The Tale of Perseus and Medusa

The pictures in the video were found at theoi.com and flickr.com, and the story was found at historyforkids.org. The story has many simple meanings threaded in its monologue but i think that the most present and important is that no matter how powerful a challenge there will always be away around it, even if it means using that challenge against itself!

The Greatest Quote Ever Quoted!

Making things like this to express my emotions about subjects (like the quote) was a difficult procedure because of copyright and fair use issues. For instance, I couldn't just take a picture off of a Google search and put it on the blog because the original photographer might not want to allow others to use their work. Luckily, websites like flickr.com have sections called "Creative Commons" photos, the Creative Commons license will protect both artists' needs. These are photos shared by photographers that allow their photos to be used, in certain cases that is. Because of this, young, aspiring digital artists such as myself can express their works without copyright problems. Fair Use concepts for multimedia and social media allow us to use the works of others as long as the photo or other media has been transformed, is used in a proportionate amount that suits the point, and that the original artists are given credit. These photos were found at flickr.com and the video was made at animoto.com

A Freaky Portrait of Me

Even though the picture might give you nightmares, it was hard and I put a lot of time into it. First I cut out half of my actual photo and put in the outline of my face and neck. After, I colored in my shirt in a light color of blue (I later brushed the shirt with a shadow). The eyes, mouth, and nose eventually became so hard I decided not to brush them over with different colors. Finally, I added strokes over my base coat on the hair so that my hair appeared to be brushed to one side. Don't worry, I'm scared by "it" too.
